July was all about our younger sister Rebecca. This was the month she got married. She actually married my younger brother's best friend. It's funny because a few years a go she did not like him at all and Erik was always picking on Rebecca {it's obviously because he liked her a lot}.
Becca was living with us for a few months and while living with us she started hanging out with Erik more and more. We kept telling her she was going to start liking him but she didn't believe us. Well what do you know, a month later she told me they were dating. It was meant to be I guess haha. We love Erik and we are so happy that he is part of our family. We grew up with his family in our Stake at church and going to the same High School with him and his siblings. He fits in great with the fam!
Trying on wedding dresses. When we walked into David's Bridal and met with the lady who was going to work with Becca, it turned out to be the same lady who worked with me {7 years a go} in picking out my wedding dress!! Crazy!!
In the beginning of July we held the bridal shower for Becca. These were the invitations I made for the bridal shower. They were fun and and I loved the colors she picked. {Teal and Orange}
Opening Gifts

Love them all!!
My younger sister...people are always asking if we are twins..I can kind of see it in this pic
Me and Becca.
This is the best part of the wedding:
The morning of the wedding, Becca calls me in tears and I start freaking out wondering what the heck is going on. We were on our way to get our nails done {Becca, Elaine, and I} and Becca tells me that she totally forgot to get the marriage license! It's Saturday morning and no gov't office is open so what does that mean, they can't get married! There was talk of cancelling the wedding all together, but there was no way that was going to happen after all the work that has been put into it. And not to mention, all the people we would of had to call to let them know. So what did we do?.....We had a celebration! They walked down the aisle still but they couldn't officially get married. We still had the reception, which was fun for them!
So that night, after the reception ended, Becca and Erik headed to Vegas and got married at a little Chapel down there. Sure in the beginning it was stressful and we were freaking out a little but in the end, it is a funny story and something we can laugh at now. It will also be a fun story for them to tell their children.
