Weekend Get Away

This weekend we went on a little get away to Sedona, AZ.  We went with some of our cousins and it was so much fun. With Bear running his company and training with the Fire Department and studying for EMT, this little stay-cation came at the perfect time.   We stayed at a quiet campsite for RV's and just hung out and relaxed.  We also went out to slide rock and rode around on the Razor's.  Thanks to our family for inviting us and giving us a break :]

Going out for a ride in the Razor..
Jumping off the cliffs in Slide Rock.  That was fun but a little scary at the same time..Glad I did it though and overcame a fear!
Pictures of me and Bear around Sedona.
Bear and our cousin Tracey jumping off the BIG cliff!  I wasn't that brave :]

Birthday Pictures

This year for my birthday all I wanted was to get pictures done.  But this time I wanted to include my 2 nieces.  They are moving in a few months and I am going to miss them so much so I needed some pics with them.  I love these 2 girls so much and I am definitely going to miss them and my sister TONS when they have to move so soon.  I love what Lacie Lane captured and I couldn't of asked for better pics.

We also added a few pics for our adoption profile.  I saw this idea on Pinterest and I loved how it turned out :)

The babies are coming

I got the call on May 29th that my sister went to the hospital.  When she woke up that morning, she had a little bit of spotting and just to be safe, her and her husband went to the ER just to make sure everything was okay, since she still had about 8 weeks left.  Well when she got all hooked up and checked, they found out that she 7 cm dilated and she had no idea.  She said she didn't feel any contractions or anything so she had no idea that was even happening.  The hospital told her that she wasn't leaving until she had the babies.

The hospital was trying to hold out till Wed for the babies to come, but they wanted to come now.  I got to the hospital around 1:00 and of course things started to slow down. haha.  Finally at 6:00 the babies were ready to come.  No one was allowed in the room with her since they did it in the OR room, just in case if they had to do a C-Section.  Becca did awesome and delivered both babies.  She pushed for maybe 15 minutes and that was it.

Since the babies came so early they were taken right away to the NICU and weren't able to see them right away.  We waited to till 10:00 that night and finally had to leave.  We were able to go the next day to see them and they are so precious!

Becca's Baby Shower-Twins

My sister Elaine and I threw a baby shower for our sister Becca who was having twins.  We went with a gray and yellow theme with Elephants.  She is seriously so cute and tiny for being 7 months pregnant with twins.  I love Becca and can't wait to spoil those babies so much.  She is having 1 boy and 1 girl! SO EXCITED!!

The dessert set up table...My sister Elaine did an awesome job with all the baking.

We did mason jars with lemon slices for the water and lemonade drinks.

Cupcakes

Cake Balls

Rice Krispie Treats

Peanuts in the jars for the Elephant theme and decor

Lemon Bites and oreo pops

Playing the game where everyone guesses the size of the belly with a string.

So cute!
