Class of 2009

Today my youngest sister graduated from high school! I can't believe that she is already that old :] Time sure does go by fast... It also makes me feel old since I graduated back in 2003! Congrats Becca on graduating!

We didn't plan this at all but ended up wearing the same shirt...Note her cute little baby bump!

Its hard to say goodbye

It has been crazy busy since the last time I posted and it was also a hard month. We lost one of our good friends/neighbor. It all started on the day of my last post....He went to urgent care on that Sunday and then was transfered to the ER and within a few days he was diagnosed with Leukemia on Wednesday and passed away on Sunday. That had to have been one of the hardest weeks I have had to go through. He was only 29 years old and had a wife and 3 kids. Why him?

We seriously were blessed with the best neighbors anyone could ask for. When we needed something they were always there willing to help and they have the cutest kids in the world. We have been neighbors with them for about 4 years and became instant friends. When we were looking at other houses we talked them into looking with us so we could be neighbors becuase we wanted to be next to eachother. Him and Bear would be outside late at night just talking and joking around or helping eachother with their trucks. If they knew I was going to be home by myself due to Bear in the academy they would invite me for dinner and to hang out! It breaks my heart for his family as I couldn't even imagine going through that! Life really if fragile and that scares me. At times like these I am greatful for the Gospel and knowledge of the plan of salvation. We will miss Jason but will always remember the good times and he will forever be in our hearts. We love his family like they are a part of ours and I know we will always be a part of their lives and for that I am forever greatful!

Camping

I am not a big fan of camping at all but Bear on the other hand LOVES camping. Since we have been married we have only been once so when his friend invited him a month a go to go camping he of course said yes and I didn't have another choice :] But it was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. We went with a group of 14 people so we had good company and got to know some new people. The only negative part was that it was FREEZING cold and windy which made it even more cold. The whole time I had on 2 sweaters and was bundled in a blanket. Having a campfire going the whole weekend was very comforting. I told Bear that if we get a camper we just might be able to camp more often...We went on a hike, played card games, and most importantly relaxed ALL weekend! Can't wait till the next or can I....

Here is Toby in the garage sniffing our stuff becuase he knew we were leaving. Toby has a good sense and can tell when we are leaving somewhere and whines and whines for about an hour while we are packing. I missed Toby but it was nice not having to worry about him. Thank you mom and dad for taking care of him!!

Here is Bear cooking me breakfast. He cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 2 days and it was so yummy! I am so glad he payed attention in Scouts thats for sure....

Here we are on a hike. The sun was very bright but the weather was perfect and it was nice walk.

These 2 guys went through fire academy with Bear. They are really nice guys and it also helps that they have great girlfriends so I have someone to hang out with while they are doing their "guy" stuff...

Easter

We had an Easter dinner with Bears mom, grandma, brother, and sis in law on Saturday night. We had my favorite Steak and potatoes. It was fun having them over and just hanging out. We haven't seen them since his brother got married in December!! Bears mom usually brings some kind of activity for us to do at gatherings so this year we got to make Easter baskets for eachother and she brought over all different kinds of things to put in them along with cute Easter baskets. I didn't get that many pictures but here are the few I got...

On Sunday we went over to my parents house for dinner. It was fun having the whole family over since its been about 4 years the last time we were all together for a holiday!

I am going to be.....

An aunt!! As I am very excited for my sister inside I can't help to be a little sad...someday it will be our turn I guess just not right now and I have to keep telling myself that so I don't lose all hope!



I was able to go with her to her 1st doctor appt and that made me happy that she wanted me there :] We got to hear the heartbeat and see the little guy moving around everywhere! This is the first baby on our side and it will be way fun to have a little baby around to play with and spoil!! He/She is expected to arrive on Sept 30!! these are happy tears...

Hitched

Last weekend was my sister Elaine's wedding! She married a good guy *Shane* and he fits in our family perfectly! Their story : They went to grade school together and he really like my sister but she didn't like him at all so after they graduated 8Th grade they didn't talk to each other ever again. Then when she moved back from Missouri last year they came in contact again from another friend that they went to grade school with and started hanging out. When they started hanging out again Shane told his feelings to her and she said I only like you as a friend. But after hanging out with him everyday something obviously grew between them and then started dating. And a year later they got married! We love Shane and we are so happy that they are together and happy that he is part of our family!!

Congrats to my younger brother Joey! He got accepted into BYU-Idaho! He has been working really hard to achieve this and I am so glad that he did! All his hard work finally paid off.....

Who Should Win!?

I am waiting for Bear to come home from class and I need to fold 2 weeks of laundry but I just wanted to do a quick post about the bachelor! I have been watching this every Monday @ 7 pm and have made sure not to miss it! I know, I need a life! But anyways...I have stuck with Melissa the whole way and I am way excited that she is in the final 2! I think she is way cute and has a fun personality! Molly on the other hand I am not a fan of. To me she just seems fake. But what do I know! If you watch this show, who do you want to end up with Jason?
