Yesterday I went up to Buckeye for a few hours to watch Bear and to see what he does while he is attending the academy. I feel bad for those guys having to wear the whole turnouts and all in the heat! I was wearing jeans and tshirt and I was sweating, I can't even imagine how hot they were :[

Wow! That's awesome that Bear wants to be a firefighter. I'm sure it's scary for you! When Randy and I first got married he wanted to be a police officer. Luckily, he got over it. Best of luck to Bear in the academy! :)

I feel bad for those guys though. It seems like that would be so easy to get heat stroke and dehydration really bad.
